Safety Is Number One in Our Family
At Hartman & Hartman, safety is part of how we operate every day. It guides the way we plan projects, train employees, and approach work in the field. Through ongoing training, careful preparation, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way, we create safer jobsites and better outcomes for our clients.
For more than 40 years, we’ve invested in our people and our safety program because we believe everyone deserves to go home safely at the end of the day. That commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.
“Hartman & Hartman, Inc. is like no ordinary company in our industry. Its unsurpassed safety culture has roots that run much deeper than paper alone. Hartman’s employees are family and as family, we look out for one another. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.”
—Christopher Ondecko, HSE Manager
We not only have all the training, procedures, and oversight in place, but our employees use their training and resources to practice what we preach on our jobsites.

Training, Preparation & Continuous Improvement
Safety starts long before work begins. Through new employee onboarding, recurring safety education, hands-on evaluations, and customer-specific training, we equip our workforce with the knowledge and resources needed to recognize hazards, make informed decisions, and maintain safe jobsites.
Every employee completes extensive safety training, including OSHA 10 or PEC SafeLand certification, with many team members completing both programs. This commitment to ongoing education helps reinforce the culture of accountability that defines Hartman & Hartman.
